The Bristol Hotel, Paris: A History

Browsing yet again the website of l'Hotel Le Bristol, a classic place to stay in Paris, I discovered the most amazing thing - a little timeline history lesson of the hotel. I love this stuff (and if you do too then you must listen to my heroes The Bowery Boys talk about NYC) and it turns out it was once home to all Americans in Paris!
Nowadays the hotel hosts a lot of discerning VIPs, and belongs to the same company as the incredible Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, a hideaway for celebrities. If you shop at the pharmacy outside The Bristol you may see Natalia Vodianova - she told Style.com that's where she buys her Berocca, obviously when staying so nearby ;) The Bristol was also used as a location in the new Woody Allen film Midnight in Paris which looks so good, especially for all the glimpses it gives of the romantic city!

On the Bristol website the information is a little hidden away, so I figured they wouldn't mind the history of the hotel being highlighted and have stolen taken it from their site to place here for the pleasure of Heart Fairs readers, enjoy...
